​In S3, our young people have the opportunity to experience more depth in their learning.  Pupils will study 8 courses in depth (including English, Maths and a Modern Language) and choose ‘electives’ for 2 periods a week which will provide enrichment and wider achievement. They continue with a broad education by studying across the curricular areas.  This opportunity to specialise in fewer subjects provides more depth in their learning and prepares them for subjects that they will go on to take in S4 for SQA courses.
