Welcome to the Home Economics Department

 

Our friendly department consists of 2 refurbished kitchens and 1 textiles room for pupils to work in.  Our staff aim to deliver engaging lessons based on food education and develop young people’s skills in both practical cookery and textiles.  In addition, our Broad General Education courses aim to prepare pupils for progression into our National and Higher courses offered in the senior phase.
